Description

Overview & Responsibilities Overview: To perform all required layout, complex setups, manual and CNC machining. This includes subassembly, tool setting, deburring of parts, dimensional inspections, and final assembly of components according to required specifications in a timely manner. Ability to plan and oversee work with minimal supervision while directing other employees. Ability to train other employees on all functions and processes within the department. Responsibilities: Conducts him or herself in a professional manner at all times. Promotes safety and quality at all times. Experienced and adept at manual and CNC machining Alloy and non-alloys materials using CNC Horizontal turning lathe and Horizontal Boring cum milling machine. Ability to read mechanical drawings and plan machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances. Operates CNC mills and lathes, by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Set-up CNC mills and lathes, by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets, bushings, cams, gears, stops, stock pushers; indicating vices; and tramming heads. Recognizes, deploys and properly uses inserts, fixtures and tooling Loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes. Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Evaluate experimental procedures and recommend changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to setup and production. Documents actions by completing production and quality logs. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities. Maintains a personal inventory of basic tooling needed to complete routine CNC and manual machining setups. Qualifications: High School Diploma or Equivalent 5+ years' experience G-Code Experience with Fanuc Control CNC Programming Cum machining experience is desired Base Location & Work Schedule This is a full time permanent position based in Dammam (Saudi Arabia).
