Job title: CNC Machinist Reports to: CNC Supervisor Supervisory responsibilities: None. Summary/objective: Engineered Tooling Systems (ETS) is looking to add an experienced CNC Machinists OR Trainee. The CNC Machinist is responsible for producing machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. A $2 night shift premium is available for this position. Essential functions: Download programs and MDI (Manual Data Input) as needed. Ability to perform your own programming and running your details. Setup and machine to the proper programs and tolerances required. Recheck setups, change cutters and inserts, and make adjustments as needed to achieve the best possible results. Maintain appropriate tools and keep current on calibration. Keep work area clean. Follow all safety rules and report unsafe work conditions to management. Regular attendance at work during scheduled work hours. Employees may be requested to perform other job functions as required. Required competency, education, and experience: Experience with using Work NC software A well-rounded knowledge of cutters and inserts, and feeds/speeds. Candidate must have high school or equivalent education. Candidate must have valid driver’s license Work environment: Manufacturing environment Physical demands: Candidate must have full use of all limbs. Candidate must be able to read and speak English. Candidate must be able to lift 40 pounds. Position type and expected hours of work: Full time. Night Shift. Travel: None.
