Description:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist who can contribute to our team with their expertise in precision machining. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Your attention to detail, technical knowledge, and ability to work independently will be crucial in ensuring the success of our manufacturing processes. Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling accessories according to specifications
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as necessary to maintain product specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with CNC machines
- Strong knowledge of machining principles and techniques
- Experience with Mazak controls
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
- Familiarity with CNC programming and operation
- Knowledge of lathe operations is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools
- Forklift certification is a plus
