Job Title: CNC Machinist
Location: Stoke-on-Trent (ST4)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay Rate: £15.00–£20.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 2-week rotating shifts (days/nights), overtime available
Hunters 4 Staff are pleased to be supporting our client, a well-established engineering company based in ST4, Stoke-on-Trent, in their search for an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team on a permanent basis. REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong background in CNC setting and operating
• Experience with 5-axis mill-turn machines preferred
• Mazak control panel experience advantageous
• Apprenticeship background in machining (ideal but not essential)
• Willingness to learn and train to high standards
• Availability for shift work and regular overtime

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set and operate CNC machines, primarily 5-axis mill-turn machines
• Work with Mazak-controlled machinery (experience with other controls also considered)
• Undergo training to develop technical skills further
• Work rotating shifts (2-week pattern of days and nights)
• Meet expected levels of weekly overtime
