JOB TITLE: CNC MACHINIST – HAAS OPERATOR

Location: Valencia, CA
Pay Rate: $45-$50/hour DOE
Schedule: Full-Time 6:30 AM -3:00 PM | Occasional Overtime
We’re hiring on behalf of our aerospace client in Valencia, CA for an experienced CNC Machinist with advanced skills in HAAS Milling Machines or HAAS Lathes. This hands-on role involves precision machining for FAA-regulated parts using programs like Mastercam, AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, and more. This is a temp to hire position.
This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and takes pride in producing critical components with tight tolerances.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ years of CNC machining experience
  • Expertise in G-Code and M-Code
  • Proficiency in part setup and HAAS controls
  • Familiar with aerospace materials and tolerances
  • Skilled in reading blueprints and interpreting specs
  • Strong knowledge of shop tools and measuring devices
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
  • Fluent in English – read, write, speak, understand
  • Must pass FAA/DOT drug and alcohol screening

PREFERRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE:

  • Mastercam
  • Fusion 360
  • AutoCAD
  • SolidWorks
  • Geomagic
  • VX Elements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand for extended periods
  • Lift up to 50 lbs (with assistance if needed)
  • Use hands, arms, and fingers regularly
  • Work around machines, tools, and production noise
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate HAAS Milling or Lathes
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and drawings
  • Program or verify using Mastercam/Fusion 360
  • Machine FAA-regulated aerospace components
  • Maintain tight tolerances and monitor production
  • Use gauges, micrometers, and calipers to inspect
  • Scan work in/out using Quantum Labor Scanning
  • Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness
  • Follow safety and FAA regulations
  • Complete documentation and meet production deadlines
