JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in operating various CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to read blueprints accurately. As a Senior CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in the production process, ensuring high-quality standards are met while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with advanced skills in machining processes.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools effectively.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
  • Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC machines including lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
  • Assemble components as per engineering specifications, ensuring proper fit and function.
  • Utilize calipers, micrometers, and other hand tools to measure dimensions and verify conformance to specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot machining issues and implement solutions.
  • Apply lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
  • Train and mentor junior machinists on best practices and operational procedures.
