Description
Overview We're hiring skilled CNC Machinists for our aerospace and semiconductor precision machine shop outside of Philadelphia, PA This is high-mix, low-volume work: complex prints, unproven prototype setups, and tight tolerances on large-format materials. Machinists here own the job end-to-end from blueprint interpretation, multi-axis setup, first article prove-out, and final inspection. You'll apply GD&T, build your own workholding, and work directly with engineers on design changes. Why Join Us End-to-end ownership: You run each part from print through final inspection. Prototype work: High-mix, low-volume variety. Compensation Starting pay negotiable, and communicated through the interview process. Hiring on 1st and 2nd Shift Monday - Friday Responsibilities Setups: Set up large-format 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills for prototype and job-shop work. Prove-Outs: Dial in unproven, high-complexity parts through first article validation. Blueprints: Interpret complex prints, models, and routings using advanced GD&T. Workholding: Build fixturing that manages 5-axis kinematics and collision avoidance. Programming: Read, write, and edit G/M-code, offsets, and tool comp. Inspection: Verify tight tolerances with micrometers, indicators, and precision gauges. Engineering Support: Recommend manufacturing changes to improve part manufacturability. Qualifications Required 3+ years CNC machining in precision environments Independent complex setups: tooling, offsets, workholding Reads complex blueprints and applies GD&T Writes and edits G/M-code at the control Holds tight tolerances with manual inspection tools Preferred Direct experience running 5-axis mills Aerospace or semiconductor machining experience Large-format machining experience Experience cutting advanced aerospace alloys Prototype or high-mix job-shop background Benefits Medical, dental, vision 401(k) with match PTO #ZR
