Overview We’re hiring skilled CNC Machinists to join our growing team, where you will be machining large, complex steel castings that support critical global industries like agriculture and mining. You’ll take charge of advanced multi-axis CNC machine tools to produce massive parts with extremely close tolerances, often down to .0005” or tighter. You'll interpret G-Code, execute advanced setups, tooling selection, and offsets. You will utilize advanced trade math, GD&T, and precision measuring instruments to ensure perfection on every heavy-duty component you machine. Compensation $26 - $35 / hr base ($20 - $26 for candidates with limited experience) Shifts 1st: 6:30am - 3:00pm 2nd: 2:30 - 11:00pm Benefits 401k Profit sharing Full health, vision and dental plans Responsibilities CNC Operation: Set up, operate, and optimize advanced multi-axis CNC mills and lathes for large, precision steel casting applications. Machine Setup: Perform complete machine setups, including tooling selection, offset management, compensation adjustments, and fixture alignment. Code Troubleshooting: Read and interpret G-Code to spot defects ahead of time and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth production runs. Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and detailed process specifications. Mathematical Application: Utilize advanced trade mathematics and trigonometry to calculate dimensions, tooling paths, and specific machining requirements. Precision Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments in both English and Metric systems to verify parts to extremely tight tolerances, down to .0001”. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, and dedicated programming personnel to proactively resolve machining and process-related challenges. Qualifications Required Experience: 3+ years of recent CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment (trade school, technical certification, or college coursework in machining may be considered in lieu of some experience). Education: High school diploma or GED. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of CNC setup, troubleshooting, and blueprint/GD&T interpretation. Precision: Proven ability to work to extremely tight tolerances in a high-precision environment. Aptitude: Strong computer proficiency and mathematical skills. Preferred Scale: Experience handling, setting up, and machining large-scale parts and castings. Machine Experience: Prior experience operating Mazak machines (e.g., Versatech V100/V140, Integrex e-V series e-1850).
