POSITION OVERVIEW:

A CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machinist is responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining CNC machinery to manufacture parts and components according to precise specifications. This role involves reading technical drawings, setting up machines, and ensuring products meet quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a technical certificate or degree is a plus).
  • Experience in CNC machining or related field.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of machining tools, materials, and manufacturing processes.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
