Overview We are hiring dedicated CNC Machinists to join our rapidly expanding manufacturing facility. In this role, you will manufacture the precision components that power critical industries worldwide, all while continuing to develop your technical skills on the floor. Our Hopkinsville plant is growing fast, and we need reliable machinists to keep things moving. This is a high-volume, fast-paced, and precision-driven environment. While you need to know your way around a CNC machine, this role is heavily focused on machine operation, quality control, and steady production. We are looking for machinists with a strong mechanical aptitude, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to work independently to keep our production lines running smoothly. Compensation $24 - $26 / hr Shift 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance 401(k) + Company Match PTO and Holidays Responsibilities Machine Operation: Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines and other machining equipment to fabricate precision components safely and efficiently. Blueprint Interpretation: Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to understand exact machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances. Quality & Metrology: Actively monitor machining operations and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to ensure they meet exact specifications. Basic Troubleshooting: Resolve common issues related to machine operations, tooling, or part quality to minimize downtime and maintain production goals. Routine Maintenance: Perform routine upkeep on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing basic parts as necessary. Safety & Collaboration: Maintain an organized, clean work environment, adhere to strict safety protocols, and collaborate with supervisors to resolve production bottlenecks. Qualifications Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a machining environment with a strong focus on CNC operation Technical Literacy: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Gauging & Measurement: Highly familiar with using manual measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to verify tight tolerances. Process Knowledge: Solid understanding of various machining processes, including milling, turning, grinding, and drilling. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, handle, and maneuver up to 35 lbs. for extended periods of time in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Problem Solving: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot basic tooling and operational issues on the fly.
