Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate CNC machines following blueprints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, multi-axis mills, and similar equipment. Choose, align, and securely attach holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and other materials on machines. Apply knowledge of mathematics and utilize manual inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify product conformance. Identify malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining; adjusts controls of machine to correct errors. Maintain safe, orderly, cleanly, and organized production area. Assist with training of junior employees and program participants. Role model proper work ethics and behaviors. Skills and Abilities Previous manufacturing experience running CNC Mills, Haas preferred. Ability to interpret and translate engineering designs and documentation. Experience using basic inspection equipment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Willingness to support training needs of new employees Requirements Qualifications: At least two years of experience as a fully qualified machinist required. High school diploma or equivalent required; participation in qualified CNC training program highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
