REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Machinists can accurately machine parts to print.
o Using a variety of machines and methods.
· Advanced skills and expertise.
· Advanced Programming ability.
· Quality control at the CNC.
· Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical issues.

MACHINISTS HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

· Ability to read blueprints and part drawings.
· Programming and setup of CNC machines
· Ability to set up and operate machine tools for drilling, milling, and grinding.
· Knowledge of properties of metal and other materials
· Mathematic skills

· Knowledge of reading calipers and gauges

• On-the-job CNC machining experience
• Demonstrated proficiency in Mastercam software and 5-axis CNC operation.
• 10 years Minimum experience with machine shop equipment including but not limited to manual milling, Lathe and 5-Axis CNC.
• Experience with all aspects of a machine shop.
• Ability to work independently, in a continuous improvement environment.
• Eligibility to work in the US.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manufacturing of small parts and 1st run R&D prototypes with the use of machinery including but not limited to Haas 5 axis CNC, Manual Mill, Lathe, and software such as Mastercam. (Clean lab style shop- not a production facility).
• Set up CNC machines to complete full cycles and fabricate parts.
• Check, maintain and troubleshoot machinery daily to ensure functionality.
• Ability to adhere to specifications and follow quality control procedures.
