Description

Seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Machinist to join our fabrication team building custom filtration equipment, from the ground up, for the food and pharmaceutical industries.

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with 2–4 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines in a precision manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be capable of interpreting complex engineering drawings, accurately measuring machined parts, and making real-time adjustments to machine settings to ensure consistent product quality.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of CNC machining experience in a production or job-shop environment.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in using precision measurement instruments.
  • Strong ability to read and understand complex engineering drawings and tolerances (GD&T a plus).
  • Knowledge of G-code and M-code; capable of making program adjustments.
  • Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for prolonged periods throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
  • Manual dexterity and ability to work with hand tools and machine controls.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machine noise, metal shavings, and lubricants.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required;

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical training or certification in CNC machining preferred.

    Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis) to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
  • Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure part conformance.
  • Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed to maintain dimensional accuracy.
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for efficient workflow.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and communicate effectively with supervisors and engineering when necessary.
  • Maintain clean and safe working conditions according to company policies and OSHA standards.
  • Document work performed and inspection results as required.
