As a CNC Swiss Lathe, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and quality output of a Tornos GT-26/6 Swiss-type lathe. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and experience working with tight tolerances and complex geometries.

Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of experience operating CNC Swiss-type lathes (Tornos experience a strong asset)
• Proficient in reading blueprints and working with precision measuring tools
• Familiarity with G-code and CNC control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervisio

• Set up and operate the Tornos GT-26/6 Swiss-type lathe to produce precision components
• Interpret technical drawings and part specifications
• Make tool offsets and minor adjustments as needed to maintain quality
• Conduct in-process inspections using measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of the machine
• Collaborate with quality and engineering teams to ensure first-time-right manufacturing
• Maintain accurate production records and follow safety procedures
