The AWC Company is one of the few companies that specializes in the design and manufacture of moulds for the foam automotive seating industry.
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our company. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of working experience with the operating of 3 and 5 axis CNC machines.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Set up, and operate 3 and 5 axis CNC machines while simultaneously executing tasks and making any necessary adjustments to the tooling and machines to meet the specifications, and produce quality results
Interpret and read blueprints and CAD drawings to determine machining operations, and coordinate with supervisor to meet the standards.
You will be expected to prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines independently
Conduct first-runs, part, and sample workpieces to ensure the outputs according to specifications
Fully Inspect and measure finished products for stated dimensions and surface imperfections
Consistently communicate with supervisor and quality control to ensure production of top-notch product
Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager when required

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

College diploma or equivalent
Fanuc / Heidenhain Controls an asset
Efficient with all type of measuring tools
Understanding of G&M codes
Good communication & organizing skills
Additional pay: overtime as required, and paid after 40 hours per week
