OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated CNC Machinist to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality precision parts to tight tolerances. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and problem-solving skills.

EDUCATION

• Certificate or diploma in Machining/Manufacturing Technology (preferred).
• Red Seal Machinist certification or equivalent (asset, but not required).

  Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 40 per week

• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or both) according to specifications.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files.
• Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.
• Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure quality.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate records of production and quality.
