Precision Castparts Corporation is a leading global supplier to the aerospace industry. We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and passionate individual to join our PCC Cambridge Team as a CNC Maintenance Mechanic.
We are looking for a team player, who is comfortable wearing multiple hats, excited to explore creative and innovative solutions to problems, interested in building and maintaining strong relationships and focused on delivering exceptional results. SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Certificate from a University, College or Technical school with the trade of Licensed Industrial Mechanic/Millwright.
  • Knowledge of machine tooling including troubleshooting and repairs of production machines, CNC and Conventional.
  • Demonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting schematics with an understanding of feedback devices, measuring systems, relay logic, electronics, PLC, and motor controls both VSD’s and conventional.
  • Proficiency with mechanical/hydraulic and pneumatic concepts related to machine tools.
  • Coordinating and scheduling repairs with shop load and/or contractors.
  • Experience in machine alignments, and general machine tool maintenance.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
  • Strong understanding of machine diagnostics.

Responsibilities
  • Extremely Safety conscious, practice safe work habits and maintain work areas in a 6S environment.
  • To maintain and support all facility and production related equipment.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns or malfunctions on a priority basis. Analyze, identify, evaluate and troubleshoot the problems to determine the points of errors and make the necessary repairs.
  • Identify the Root Cause and Corrective Actions to take the necessary proactive measures to eliminate future equipment issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and maintenance costs and manage equipment efficiencies.
  • Ensure all work completed meets regulatory guidelines, manufacturer’s specifications and internal maintenance procedures.
