Description

We are seeking a motivated and skilled CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer/Operator to join our growing, family-run business. The ideal candidate will be able to program, set up, and operate machines with minimal supervision. Qualifications
Minimum of five years of experience with a diploma or machinist trade certificate, or 5 years programming/setting up and running a CNC mill and lathe machine.
* Proficiency in programming and operating a 3-axis CNC milling machine.
* Proficiency in programming and operating a CNC lathe.
* Proficiency with Mastercam programming (certification is an asset). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Availability to work full-time hours, with some overtime required (evenings and weekends).
Skills Required
Ability to follow verbal and written directions and communicate effectively.
* Strong organizational skills.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new skills.
* Ability to adhere to all quality standards and optimize processes.
* Ability to use and interpret measurements from all required measuring equipment.
Additional Certificates Considered an Asset
Lift truck training
* Overhead crane training
* First aid training
Physical/Safety Requirements

Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety boots, clothing, gloves, and eye protection.
* Ability to work in a hot/humid, non-climate-controlled environment.
* Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
