STS Aerospace in Laconia, NH is searching for a Machinist - CNC Mill Set-Up Operator t to join the team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision components that meet quality and production standards. This role requires strong technical understanding of milling processes, tooling, work holding, and program adjustments, along with the ability to independently execute set-ups. Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities CNC Operator: Make offset adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy Inspect parts during production using precision measuring tools Document inspection results and production data Maintain required production rates and run times Communicate issues clearly with team leaders, quality and engineering Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed CNC Mill Set-Up: Perform full machine set-ups for new and repeat jobs Review job traveler, blueprints, and tooling requirements Set-up and align work holding (vises, fixtures, soft jaws) Indicate fixtures and ensure proper part alignment Conduct dry runs and prove-out processes Run first piece and complete first piece article inspection Consistently, regularly and dependably at work and on time. Other duties may be assigned as needed Qualifications Education, Certifications, Licenses, & Registrations: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Prior experience with CNC milling machine set-ups (3-axis, 4-axis preferred) Experience working with tight tolerances and precision parts Preferred Experience: Operating CNC Mills - 1-3 Yrs Set-Up CNC Mill - 3-5 Yrs Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
