Peopletech Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled CNC Miller Machinist with experience in setting and operating 3-axis milling machines for a reputable manufacturing business offering long-term career stability and development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience setting and operating 3-axis CNC milling machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical instructions.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools and measuring instruments (e.g. verniers, micrometers, gauges).
  • Strong understanding of machining best practices and material characteristics.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Comfortable working the 2pm–10pm shift following an initial training period on days.

Responsibilities
  • Set and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines to produce precision components.
  • Select and set up appropriate tooling and machine offsets.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure components are machined to exact specifications.
  • Conduct first-off and in-process quality checks using standard measuring equipment.
  • Work to tight tolerances while maintaining high levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures and housekeeping standards are followed.
