We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Programmer for our client in Cambridge. They specialise in high-quality, precision-engineered components for a wide range of industries including automotive, fibre optic, hi-tech, medical, marine, oil and gas, pharmaceutical and many more.

What’s the job?
Program/Set/Operate CNC milling machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand specifications and requirements.
Set up tooling and fixtures, including the installation of cutting tools as per the job specifications.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products using measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Who can do this?
Understanding of Heidenhain and Siemans Controls
Set and operate a variety of CNC machining centres
Strong understanding of basic mathematics for measurements and calculations.
Familiarity with materials handling processes in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of tooling requirements for various machining processes.
Toolmaking knowledge advantageous
Keen eye for detail
Must have commitment to maintaining precision in all tasks
