Due to continued expansion, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Milling Machine Operative to join our Production team at our Westmorland Business Park site in Kendal on nights.
We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work with enthusiasm as part of a growing team. Candidates must work efficiently and show attention to detail whilst working to deadlines.

• Managing a pipeline of works orders for the CNC machine
• Setting jobs on the machines
• Monitoring the quality of the work
• Checking work against drawings to ensure accuracy
• Changing tooling as required to complete a works order Ensuring the machinery is kept in excellent working order
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment around the CNC
• Programming and setting skills (AutoCAD and Elumatec would be an advantage)
• Be proficient at machining different types of aluminium extrusion into parts
• Ability to work confidently from technical drawings and have solid experience with a variety of machinery and tools
• Ability to work accurately and methodically whilst maintaining a clean and tidy work space
• Be confident at working independently whilst also able to work effectively as part of a team on a variety of different projects
  Previous experience is desired: we are looking for candidates with an eye for detail and the willingness to learn. However, experience in the use of hand tools would be advantageous.
