JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, as well as proficiency in using CAD software and hand tools. The successful applicant will contribute to the production process while ensuring high-quality standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficient in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in operating mills and lathes
• Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC machining
• Ability to fabricate parts using hand tools and tooling equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not mandatory
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Operate CNC milling machines and lathes to produce parts from various materials
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models using SolidWorks
• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Assemble components as per specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during the machining process
• Troubleshoot issues with machinery and make necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and quality control
