Description JOB TITLE: CNC Milling Machinist Double E is looking for talented CNC Machinist to join our successful and growing team. Double E Company is a multi-national manufacturing/engineering company that manufactures high quality mechanical/electrical industrial web handling products for the paper, film and foil industries. Position Summary: This individual would join a team of skilled professionals in our Machining/Manufacturing/Assembly facility. You would be working with other members of the manufacturing team on a regular basis (manual machining, saw cut, core cutter assembly/service). Extensive ongoing training is a key component of our continuous improvement mission. Location: Conveniently located two minutes from Route 24 and 106, near I-495 in West Bridgewater Key Responsibilities: • Operate CNC equipment in a low-volume, high-mix environment (5+ changeovers daily) • Analyzing and grouping jobs to reduce set up times and maximize workflow. • Conducting machine set ups in an efficient manner. • Responsible for first piece inspection utilizing visual and hand inspection equipment, which would include: Vernier calipers, Micrometers and drop dial indicators. • Excellent communication skills are required to interact directly with Supervisor/ Application Engineering/Programming to collaborate on process improvements. • Performs other duties as required. Requirements Requirements Some degree of CNC programming experience Education and Experience Minimum of three years’ experience in a machine shop, or one-year experience in a machine shop if a vocational school graduate
