Location: Kettering, OH Shifts Available: * 2nd Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Overtime Available * 3rd Shift | Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Overtime Available Compensation: Competitive Salary + 15% Shift Differential for off-shift hours + OT + Benefits Day #1 We are seeking a highly skilled Multi-Axis CNC Milling Machinist to join a precision manufacturing team producing complex, tight-tolerance components for high-performance industries, including aerospace. This is a hands-on, shop-floor role working with advanced CNC milling equipment in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You’ll support machining of large, complex parts where precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship directly impact production success. If you bring experience in multi-axis CNC milling, precision setups, and large-part machining, this is your opportunity to step into a stable, growth-focused environment with challenging, high-value work. Key Responsibilities * Set up and operate CNC machines (2-axis through 5-axis and multi-axis equipment) * Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications * Select and install tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets * Produce precision-machined components to tight aerospace tolerances * Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools * Make offset adjustments and minor program edits * Monitor tool wear and machining conditions for efficiency and consistency * Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues * Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards * Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation * Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity What You Bring * 3+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation required) * Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers (2-axis through 5-axis preferred) * Aerospace or high-precision machining background strongly preferred * Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills * Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better preferred) * Skilled with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and inspection tools * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Click Apply Now to be considered for this CNC Machinist opportunity in Kettering, OH!
