JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating CNC milling machinery and a solid understanding of mechanical processes. This role involves working with precision tools and equipment to fabricate components according to specifications. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented with knowledge of working with high spec materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of Fanuc or Mazatrol programming.
  • knowledge of working with high spec materials - stainless steel to high temp alloys.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Operating CNC Milling Machines
  • Translating the requirements of detailed drawings into measurements for production
  • Performing proper set-up and running of machines, setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
  • Lifting & Slinging as required
  • Fitting correct tools to active machines
  • Inspecting workflows
  • Adhering to safety requirements
  • Carrying out first off inspections and always meet the correct specifications and quality criteria
  • Application of ISO quality standards
  • Maintaining safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping
