JOB DETAILS:-

  • CNC Machinist – Temp to Perm
  • Location- Granby, QC
  • Grade 7: $32.18–$33.70 | Grade 8: $33.50–$34.92 per hour
  • Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:15 PM
  • Start Date: ASAP

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Diploma of Vocational Studies (DEP) in machining (1800 hours)
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming languages
  • Strong metrology and measurement skills
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating CNC machining centers
  • Able to adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for different materials

    - Must be autonomous, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES

  • DEP en techniques d’usinage (1800 heures)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently hiring skilled CNC Machinists for our client at their Granby facility. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates with the right experience and education to grow into long-term roles with a leading manufacturing company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set up and operate CNC machines for various machining operations
  • Read and interpret detailed technical and engineering drawings
  • Make minor machine adjustments as needed during production
  • Collaborate with CNC programmers to improve and optimize machining programs
  • Select and calibrate measuring instruments for quality assurance
  • Adjust machining parameters based on material and task requirements
