HDL are looking for experienced CNC Machinists to join our nightshift team working four 12 hour shifts Mon-Thurs and a new weekend shift on days running Fri-Sun.
If you’re confident setting and running CNC lathes/mills, can read drawings, and take pride in turning out top-quality parts – we’d like to hear from you.
HDL are a rapidly expanding business who have invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment including our Index C100 and G200 turn and mill centres, enabling us to be at the forefront of CNC design and manufacture. KEY REQUIREMENTS

· Time served
· Reading Engineering Drawings
· Experienced working with 5-axis mill-turn machines and multi-channel
· Experience with Siemens Sinumerik Preferred
· A logical approach to problem-solving
· Strong work ethic
· Excellent communication with all levels of responsibility
· Experience of working within quality standards such as ISO 9001

· Competent operation and setting a variety of CNC lathe and mills, including our 5-axis CNC machinery and multi-turret, multi-spindle lathes
· Ability to troubleshoot machinery issues
· Liaise and collaborate with other departments and implement solutions
· Keeping the workshop tidy and well organised
