Position: CNC Operator – 3-Axis (Architectural Millwork – Wood)

Shift: Evenings

• Sunday to Thursday: 5:30 pm – 2:00 am
• Onboarding (up to 12 weeks): Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm

We are looking for a skilled 3-Axis CNC Operator to join our client ‘s evening shift team. The successful candidate will operate Biesse CNC machinery to fabricate precise wood components for high-end architectural millwork projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of experience operating 3-axis CNC routers in woodworking or architectural millwork.
• Hands-on experience with Biesse CNC machinery (asset).
• Strong knowledge of woodworking tools, techniques, and materials (solid wood, veneers, MDF, P-Lam).
• Ability to read and follow fabrication documents with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Dedication to producing accurate, high-quality components.

• Set up, operate, and maintain 3-axis CNC machinery (Biesse).
• Execute CNC programs provided by the Programming team.
• Identify and troubleshoot machining issues as needed.
• Interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical documents to ensure accuracy.
• Load/unload materials, secure workpieces, and manage tooling changes.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance and calibration.
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, gauges, and measuring tools.
• Maintain workplace safety, cleanliness, and organization.
