JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The primary function of a CNC Operator is to set up and run the CNC machine(s) in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of machining processes, and the ability to work effectively in a factory environment.

SKILLS

  • Experience with materials handling and factory operations is preferred.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of CNC or machine operating experience.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequent exposure to 50 ppm or less
  • Ability to move molds in excess of 75lbs from one workspace to another
  • Ability to work overtime and occasionally on Saturdays.
  • Typical factory environment with concrete floors and moving equipment.

  • Perform Part Inspection (in process)
  • Perform machine Tool Changes
  • Perform quality assurance checks on completed product
  • Perform machine shut down
  • Assists in machine services (Coolant, Cleaning, etc.).
  • Report to his or her supervisor, any hazard of which he or she is aware.
  • Must adhere to all safety policies
  • Ensures work area is clean by using good housekeeping practices
