An exiting opportunity for a skilled CNC Operator has become available to join the expanding team of a well-established manufacturing company based in the Tameside area, who are looking to offer this position on a full time, permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the role, successful candidates will be required to undertake 3 years of referencing and a DBS check.

• Salary: £13.14 to £13.79 dependant on experience
• Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 4pm

THE SUCCESSFUL CNC OPERATOR WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

· Experience with 3 and 5 Axis machinery
· OSAI knowledge is essential
· Experience of cutting Aluminum materials is beneficial

DUTIES AS A CNC OPERATOR WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO:

· Operating 3 and 5 axis machines
· Setting up and adjusting machinery as per job specifications
· Punching materials from 0.6mm to 2mm in size
· Set up of fixtures, jigs and setting tool datums
· Assessing and inspecting quality of work
· Use of CAD CAM software including Catia V5, Radan and Alphacam
· Dealing with tooling changes
