Ballycastle Distributors is a family-owned business that has been proudly manufacturing custom cabinets and cabinet doors for over 45 years. We specialize in high-quality millwork and cabinetry, serving residential and commercial clients across Manitoba. We are currently seeking a CNC Operator / Cabinet Maker to join our growing team in our Winnipeg shop.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machinery
• Drill and edge-tape cabinet panels, drill hinge holes, and install hinges
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and shop documents
• Utilize design/drafting programs for cabinet layouts (asset, not required)
• Build and assemble custom cabinets to specifications
• Perform cabinet installations with accuracy and attention to detail
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Maintain quality standards in woodworking and cabinetry production
• Adhere to workplace safety standards and shop protocols

Qualifications & Experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator in custom millwork
• Strong knowledge of cabinet building techniques and installation
• Experience with CNC operation and maintenance
• Ability to read and follow technical drawings/blueprints
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
• Experience with design/drafting software for cabinetry (an asset)
• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation

• Salary: $16.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)
• Full-time, permanent position
