What You’ll Do

  • Operate CNC machinery for precision drilling, tapping, cutting, and shaping of materials including plastic, aluminium, MDF, and steel.
  • Program CNC machines and interpret blueprints to produce custom components.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments based on sound and vibration cues.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet exact specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace and manage material stock levels.
  • Perform daily maintenance, change tooling, and replace worn drill bits.
  • Liaise with suppliers and assist with material reordering.
  • Provide weekly reports on material levels and contribute to process improvements.
  • Operate forklifts and assist with general warehouse duties when needed.
  • Occasionally work on-site for installations or support.

What You Bring

  • Proven experience operating CNC machinery and interpreting G-code.
  • Strong understanding of precision manufacturing and tool wear offsets.
  • Ability to maintain high accuracy and attention to detail, especially with dibond panels.
  • Familiarity with OH&S and WH&S regulations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to workspace cleanliness.
  • Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and optimise performance.
  • Forklift license and willingness to support broader warehouse operations.
  • A collaborative mindset and leadership qualities.
