JOB DESCRIPTION

Friesen’s Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Operator II to independently operate CNC lathes and milling machines with precision and efficiency. In this role, you’ll read technical drawings, set up machines for production runs, and perform quality checks using precision measuring tools. You’ll troubleshoot issues, maintain tight tolerances, and ensure all parts meet exact specifications. A strong attention to detail, safety focus, and ability to adapt in a fast-paced team environment are essential. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-2 years of experience in CNC machining
  • Ability to safely and independently operate CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines
  • Set up and adjust CNC machines for different production runs
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other gauges
  • Proficient in using precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve minor mechanical issues
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
    Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
