Job Requirements CNC Operator REPORTS TO: CNC Supervisor or Leadperson SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Operate CNC machines in the production of custom fabrications. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (This list may not include all of the duties assigned) Receives work orders from CNC Supervisor or lead person. Set parts in vice to determine that they are securely held in place. Run machine to determine that parts are being made to specifications. Produce parts maintaining specific quantity and quality levels. Insures quality control on parts being produced. Works within the guidelines of the quality program. Maintains and updates production and inspection records. Works within the guidelines of the quality program. Insures good housekeeping in work area. Reports problems or accidents to management immediately. Gives proper consideration to safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures. Performs related work as required. PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Work with drawings, specifications and formulas involving limited detail. Use and interpret adjustable measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers and scales. Education: High School or GED Experience: Three months to one year. ALTERNATIVE TO MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: None
