Description CNC Operator Orbitform, 1600 Executive Drive, Jackson MI 49203 Full-Time (You can choose a 4-day schedule or 5-day, Mon-Thurs 6:00am to 4:30pm or Mon-Fri 6:00am to 2:30pm) Competitive Pay Based on Experience Join the Orbitform Team Orbitform is looking for a motivated CNC Operator to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in machining, manufacturing, or hands-on technical work. We are open to candidates currently in school programs, recent graduates, or individuals looking to build valuable shop experience. Requirements What You’ll Do Operate CNC equipment after machine setup is completed Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions Use measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers Assist in maintaining quality standards and inspections Work with various materials and understand material identification systems Support multiple machining areas including: CNC Lathe CNC Mill Manual Machines Tool Cell Perform basic tooling tasks Help maintain equipment and follow preventative maintenance procedures Use internal systems such as Encompix as needed Support the machining department with day-to-day operations What We’re Looking For High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a school program Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to read blueprints preferred Basic experience using calipers, micrometers, or hand tools preferred Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Reliable attendance and positive attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment This is a hands-on manufacturing environment. Candidates should be comfortable working around: Moving machinery Coolant and lubricants Loud noise levels Summer heat / winter cold conditions Fast-paced shop activity Physical Requirements Stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move throughout shift Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Use hands for tools, controls, and parts handling Strong visual attention to detail Why Join Orbitform?
