ROLE DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a skilled CNC Operator/Programmer to join our growing team in a full-service, state-of-the-art millwork facility. This full-time, on-site role involves setting up, operating, and programing CNC milling machines. The ideal candidate will have experience in machining operations, tool selection, and G-code programming to ensure efficient and precise production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a CNC Operator/Programmer at Canara Woodworking Inc., you will be responsible for:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents.
• Develop and optimize CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
• Perform tool changes and adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
