What you will do: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machinery and related production equipment Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical specifications Adjust machine settings to ensure accurate cutting, drilling, routing, or fabrication processes Verify measurements and inspect finished products to ensure quality and compliance with specifications Perform routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting Identify equipment issues and communicate repair needs promptly Maintain accurate production and operational records as required Follow all safety policies, procedures, and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Ensure products meet company quality standards and production requirements Work closely with supervisors and production team members to meet daily production goals Support workflow efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives Perform additional duties as assigned What you will bring: Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements accurately Basic computer and machine interface skills Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities Ability to work independently and in a team environment Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity Experience operating CNC machinery or similar manufacturing equipment Familiarity with manufacturing, woodworking, fabrication, or production environments Experience with CNC programming or machine setup preferred Mechanical repair or troubleshooting experience is a plus What you will earn: Health Care Benefits 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off About the company QXO is the fastest growing publicly traded distributor of building products in North America.
