JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our team manufacturing fire doors in our busy, fast paced factory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining specifically wood based products on multi axis CNC machines, ideally within the fire door industry. This role requires you to have a strong understanding of tooling as well as the CNC machine itself and to have a ‘can-do’ attitude to problem solving and production output.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical specifications
• Familiarity with tooling techniques
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

• Operate Homag CNC machines, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications
• Program and set up machinery
• Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Perform fabrication tasks, including milling routing and finishing

• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain quality standards
• Apply basic math skills for measurements and calculations during machining processes
