This role involves fabricating parts and components with precision, utilising various tools and technologies to ensure high-quality production standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience in CNC operation or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for design interpretation.
• Experience in fabrication processes, including welding, is advantageous.
• Understanding of materials handling practices within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.

• Operate CNC machines, including milling and turning centres, to produce precision components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files to understand specifications.
• Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring proper alignment and calibration.
• Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform quality checks using basic math skills to measure dimensions and tolerances.
• Handle materials safely, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with team members in the assembly of components as required.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
