We are looking to add 1 PART TIME CNC Operators to our Winnipeg VPC Team

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with repetitive tasks
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including experience working with tools and/or equipment
  • Highly motivated with the ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Diploma in mechanical technician - CNC programming preferred
  • Must have reliable method of transportation.
  • Knowledgeable in measuring, yield calculations etc.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for safely and efficiently maintaining, controlling and operating; CNC machine, Vertical and Horizontal Saws
  • Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and/or adjust equipment to maximize performance, as well as input measurements into computer systems
  • The ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance activities
  • Ability to work well with others as a member of a team as well as independently
  • Measure materials accurately to achieve best yields
  • Operation of glue booth for fabrication of materials (foam and fiber)
  • Assist with material management and use baler to compact excess raw material
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in an effort to support safety and quality standards
  • Bagging, packaging, labelling finished products
  • Other duties as requested by supervisor
