Description Summary of Job: The Cobot CNC Plastic Rotor Operator will be responsible for setting up, load, inspecting and debur machined precision parts that meet quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Operate up to 3 Cobot CNC Plastic Rotor machines · Load the 64 pc Cobot tables with new rotor molds · Verify / inspect parts for accuracy according to blueprints. · Prepare and load multiple rows of up to 3 Cobot machines · When inspecting, remove or debur parts. · Identify product defects and work with QC team. · Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures and company policies. · Maintain a professional, clean and safe work area. Requirements Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · CNC machining experience required. · Able to use measuring equipment such as Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, etc. · Able to read and interpret charts, drawings and blueprints. · Knowledge of safety procedures relating to operating machinery and handling materials. · Must be able to follow directions and perform work accurately and thoroughly. · Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem. · Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy. · Communicate with supervisor and between shifts. · High School Diploma, or GED. Physical Job Requirements and Work Environment · Ability to lift or move up to 40 pounds. Use mechanical lift if weight exceeds 40 pounds. · Machine shop. · Use of hearing protection, eye protection and safety shoes required. Hearing and eye protection provided. Safety shoes and prescription safety eyewear covered by reimbursement program.
Responsibilities
The operator is responsible for setting up, loading, inspecting, and deburring precision machined plastic rotor parts to ensure they meet quality standards while operating up to three Cobot CNC machines. Essential duties include loading molds onto Cobot tables, verifying part accuracy against blueprints, and identifying and addressing product defects by working with the Quality Control team.
