CNC BRAKE OPERATOR - IMMEDIATE START

Corr Recruitment are seeking a dependable, innovative candidate who works confidently and independently using both conventional machines for one of our well established client in Biggleswade. You should have an above-average aptitude for trigonometry, geometry, statistics, and algebra, excellent computer and interpersonal communication skills, physical stamina, and a keen interest in production and processing.
To be successful as a machinist you should be creative, perceptive, meticulous, and an active learner.

CNC BRAKE OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Ethical behaviour.
• Attention to detail and self-motivation.

• ·Produce good quality components to the required hourly rate
• Ability to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings
• ability to work to tight tolerances
• ability to work with Stainless Steel 90% of the time
• Run, bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches.
• Use a CNC controller to input information into machine.
• Adjust ram and back gauge locations per process control instructions
• Checks height, depth and thickness using micrometers, dial indicators, callipers, and gauges.
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminum & regular steel )
