About the Role We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Press Brake Operator to join our Vulcan Plate team. You’ll be operating CNC press brake machines, making sure parts are bent and formed to the right measurements, and keeping the workspace safe, clean, and well organised. You can choose between two shift options: Night Shift: Monday to Thursday, 2:00pm – 12:30am (40 hrs/week) Weekend Shift: Friday to Sunday, 4am - 4pm (12hour shifts) What you’ll do: Set up and operate CNC press brake machines Read and follow drawings and job sheets Perform bending and pressing of steel parts Check measurements and quality of finished work Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials Keep machines clean and report any faults Follow all Health & Safety rules and work safely Experience operating CNC press brake machines, preferably in the steel or metal industry Full driver’s licence and your own transport OSH forklift licence and F endorsement preferred Overhead crane experience is a bonus Good mechanical skills and attention to detail Able to read measurements and drawings Fit and strong – some heavy lifting involved Reliable and turn up every day, on time Full training on all equipment Supportive team environment where your work is recognised A company that puts safety and people first Access to our employee wellness programme Ready to Join Us?
