Description We’re looking for a CNC Preventive Maintenance (PM) Mechanic to join our skilled maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for keeping our CNC machines operating at peak performance through routine inspections, diagnostics, and maintenance. Requirements Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) Remove covers, clean machines, change coolant, replace/adjust belts and filters Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Identify and replace worn or damaged parts; perform necessary adjustments Maintain accurate logs and documentation of all maintenance work Monitor coolant sumps to ensure optimal machine efficiency Follow all company safety protocols and maintenance procedures Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in CNC maintenance or similar mechanical work Understanding of CNC systems and basic diagnostics Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics High attention to detail and safety Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, or Mitsubishi controls is a plus Solid communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Familiarity with OSHA and NEC compliance LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate information with managers and other employees, both orally and in writing. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as rate, ratio, interest, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
