Description We’re looking for a skilled CNC Profiler Operator to join our growing team! If you have experience operating CNC-controlled burning equipment and want to work in a hands-on, safety-focused environment, this is the opportunity for you. JOB SUMMARY The CNC Profiler Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the CNC profiler while following all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. This role plays an essential part in producing accurate, high-quality parts for our facility. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Operate CNC-controlled burning equipment such as pipe/vessel profilers or burn tables (HGG, Vernon, ESAB). • HGG profiler experience is a major plus! • Perform Carbon and Stainless-Steel cutting using Oxy-Fuel and Plasma. • Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts to specification. • Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders with accuracy. • Use measuring instruments (calipers, levels, tape measures) to confirm dimensions. • Safely operate forklifts and cranes to load raw materials and parts. • Follow all safety guidelines when operating machinery, power tools, and hand tools. • Monitor machine operations, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments. • Keep work area clean and report any hazards. • Perform routine machine maintenance. • Tack weld and clean profiler holes using a grinder. • Log job numbers and production time for vessels/sumps. • Lay out external attachments and connections (nozzles, couplings, etc.) on vessels. • Maintain perishable inventory. • Assist other facility areas as needed; perform other duties as assigned. profiler experience a major plus. Requirements KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or GED is required. The ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality is required. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of vessel layout is preferred but not required. Previous sub-arc welding experience is preferred but not required. Experience operating CNC-controlled burning equipment such as a pipe/vessel profiler or burn tables is strongly preferred; experience with HGG profiler equipment is also strongly preferred. Experience working with Carbon and Stainless-Steel cutting using Oxy-Fuel and Plasma cutting processes is strongly preferred. Previous experience with forklift and crane operation to prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machine is preferred but not required. Demonstrable knowledge of ASME code pressure vessel and piping dimensional tolerances is strongly preferred. Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of basic HMI (Human-Machine Interface) is required. A strong technical aptitude and basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required. An ability to use measuring instruments such as calipers, levels, and tape measures to ensure the accuracy of dimensions is required. The ability to remain organized with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment is required. The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines utilizing excellent time management skills is required.
