Description
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, including dimensions, tolerance, surface finishes, and brazing symbols.
  • Creating CNC programming utilizing MasterCAM software.
  • Program CNC machines using G-code and/or M-code for lathes, mills, machining centers and powder press.
  • Use CAD/CAM software for part design and toolpath generation (Solidworks, MasterCAM).
  • Set up CNC machines by adjusting part zero, machine zero, fixtures, tooling, and offsets to produce Prototypes and regular parts.
  • Select appropriate tools and define cutting parameters (speeds, feeds, depths of cut) and lead continuous improvement projects and cycle time reduction.
  • Operate CNC equipment to perform milling, drilling, tapping, and other machining operations
  • Perform dimensional control using metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, profile projectors, and CMMs.
  • Analyze material behaviour during machining (ferrous and non-ferrous materials, aluminum, technical plastics) to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Carry out basic maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues to minimize downtime.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
  • Collaborate with T&D, Maintenance, and Quality teams to drive process improvements and solve technical challenges.
  • Support continuos improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Develop and implement innovative ideas to improve productivity, profitability, and safety in machining processes.
  • Demonstrate initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Participate in corrective action processes, including root cause analysis, to address production challenges.

  • Requirements:
  • CNC Programmer, Technical Mechanics, Automation Technology, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience CNC operator and programmer role.
  • Certifications in CNC programming and MasterCAM.
  • Strong experience in CAD/CAM System.
  • Firsthand experience in setting up and operating CNC machines.
  • Knowledge of machining processes, preferably in CNC lathes, mills and Machining center.
  • Competency in Microsoft’s suite of Word, Outlook, Excel, and Power point is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required with the ability to exercise independent judgement.
  • Focus on continuous improvement with a customer first driven mentality.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.50-$34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
