The CNC Programmer is responsible for working from blueprints, specifications, and work orders to complete projects and operate a variety of machines in the shop. By adhering to the job site and shop safety requirements, the position will operate equipment safely and maintain safe work habits. A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred. Valid driver's license. 5-7 years of Machine Shop experience preferred. Ability to read blueprints, and have foundational skills in math and use precision measuring tools. Experience programming or using the following technologies. Haas controls and G & M codes. CAD CAM programming software. Fusion 360 software. Experience in the setup and operation of a machining center is required. Experience operating mills, lathes, and CNC experience is preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Responsibilities
The CNC Programmer is responsible for completing projects and operating various shop machines based on blueprints, specifications, and work orders. The role ensures all equipment is operated safely while adhering to shop and job site safety requirements.
