JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC programming and machining, with experience in various software and tools. This role is crucial for ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing processes, contributing to the production of high-quality components.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in CNC programming with a strong understanding of CAD/CAM systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, geometry, and math principles relevant to machining processes.
  • Experience with CATIA is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • MUST HAVE MasterCAM experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using software such as Fanuc, SolidWorks, and AutoCAD.
  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to create accurate machining plans.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Operate and maintain CNC equipment, including electrical discharge machining (EDM) and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Conduct regular inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other tools to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to refine designs and improve tooling processes.
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and provide solutions to enhance operational performance.
