Responsibilities
  • Program parts for CNC machines by reading and interpreting approved fabrication drawings.
  • Analyze drawings and sketches to determine machining methods, materials, and setups.
  • Translate 2D or 3D drawings into machine-readable programs for CNC routers, including material requirements.
  • Support daily production to ensure client needs are met.
  • Develop, implement, and optimize CNC programs for new materials.
  • Program nesting configurations to optimize material use.
  • Create prototypes, samples, and templates.
